It’s the second to last episode of the season! Are we ready? I am. I am ready to get to this wedding we’ve been anticipating since last season’s finale, but that won’t happen until this Friday. So, until then, let’s talk about last Friday.
Well, here we are, The 100 fans. Season 6 has FINALLY landed, and pardon my skipping straight to the point, but holy shit. What kind of place have our favorites landed in? Short answer is that it’s actually a moon, not a planet. That’s where the mystery starts.
This episode was the episode for me that revealed a lot of true colors. The Resident 2×22 “Broker and Broker”, also led to a goodbye and some terrifying unknowns. For one, we really were enlightened to the harsh veracity of Alec’s (Miles Gaston Villanueva) line-crossing ways. Mina appears to be realizing the complications of her newfound feelings and possibly some of her past mistakes. Nic and Conrad, though apart, seem to still be walking in the same direction. Which is hopeful for all of us who still love Conic.
We’re back with another episode that has season ending gravitas, this time for Erin. You can really tell we’re reaching the last few episodes because stakes are increasing and individual decisions from earlier episodes are leading to consequences. Let’s discuss.
The Resident 2×20 “If Not Now, When?” is one of the best episodes I have seen on television. Ever. Manish Dayal wins my performance of the week for this chilling episode that shed light on senseless gun violence and the lack of standard of care in postpartum treatment. For such a heavy content episode, the writers still managed to update viewers on the failing health of Nic’s sister, Jessie (Julianna Guill) and on the somber status of CoNic.
We’re getting close to the end of the season! Who’s nervous? I know I am! We got off easy at the end of last season, and if this episode is any indication then it certain feels like Blue Bloods is ramping up for the season 9 finale! Let’s jump right in!
The Resident 2×18 “Emergency Contact” was packed full of taking leaps of faith on love. There were a lot of loose ends tied up — like the whereabouts of Julian Booth and the fate of Mina and Micah’s engagement; but the questions left unanswered far outweighed the answers.
