Arrow Season 6 Preview: A Strained Relationship Between Oliver And William?

We are less than two weeks away from finally finding out what happened after Prometheus blew up Lian Yu with pretty much the entire Team Arrow on it. About to premiere its sixth season, we are all curious how Arrow will be formatted going forward, now that the flashbacks from Oliver’s five years in hell are over.

The CW has released a brand new trailer, and it looks like Oliver has a lot on his plate when the new season starts. We see him with William, so I think it’s safe to assume that Samantha is no longer in the picture. The problem is, it looks like young William wants nothing to do with his new found dad, and thinks Oliver is a bad guy.

After all, for all he knows, his mom is no longer around — or hurt, in case she is still alive — because of him. I am super curious about how that is going to play out, and how Oliver is going to build this new relationship with his son. It seems that things will eventually work out for them, though, because they looked a little more friendly in these set photos.

I wonder if Felicity will play a part in helping these two get along. Check out the trailer below and let me know your predictions in the comments.

Arrow Season 6 is set to premiere on Thursday, October 12, at 9pm on The CW.
